Samsung's AMOLED production not up to snuff for iPhone?

The American company had talked to Samsung Mobile Display but found that its AMOLED production capacity was well below what it would need. Even if Samsung devoted its entire AMOLED production to the iPhone, it could only handle 50 to 60 percent of all the orders, the sources said....

Wired launches official iPad app

Currently available is the June issue, which interweaves the print edition's content with iPad-specific extras. These include an interactive map of Mars, as well as assorted videos, slideshows and music clips. The app is a 527MB download, and costs $5....

AT&T telling staff of iPhone launch by mid-June

HP intros four new HD monitors with built-in speakers

The smallest has a resolution of 1600x900, while the other three have 1920x1080 pixels at their disposal. The 20-inch model also has a 1,000:1 contract ratio, 5ms response time and 250 nits of brightness. Connections include VGA, HDCP-compliant DVI-D and audio inputs....
